AI Content Policy

How Camelo uses generative AI, what may not be ordered, and how to report content you find offensive.

Last updated : 28 September 2026

In short

Camelo is a production studio, not a self-service generator. Generative AI is one of the tools our creatives use, but nothing is produced without a brief you submit and nothing reaches you without a Camelo creative reviewing it first. Two features in the app answer you directly with a model, without that review: the assistant and the Insights benchmark. Both are for guidance only, and each answer carries a Report action.

How a production is made

Every order follows the same pipeline, and a person is responsible at each step:

StepWhat happens
StoryboardYou describe the brief and agree the direction with the team
AI generationA Camelo creative takes the project on and produces the material
EditingThe studio edits, corrects and assembles the result
ReviewA Camelo creative checks the deliverable against this policy before it is uploaded
ValidationYou approve each deliverable or send it back for changes

Production does not start until a creative takes the project on, and deliverables appear only once the team uploads them. No generated file is delivered automatically.

Where AI is used

Generative models assist our creatives on AI Image, AI Video, AI Motion Design, AI Podcast, AI Avatar, PDF or PPTX to video, and the voice and dubbing services. Other services in the catalogue are produced conventionally.

Two features in the app show model output directly, without a creative reviewing it first. The assistant answers the questions you type about the app and our services, and Insights generates a marketing benchmark from the criteria you pick. Their answers can be wrong or incomplete, are given for guidance only, and never replace a production.

The assistant and Insights run on models reached through OpenRouter, named in the app and in our Privacy Policy, and only once you have allowed it in the app. You can withdraw that permission at any time in Settings. Briefs and reference files you upload are sent to our production tools only to produce what you ordered. We do not use your content to train AI models, and we do not authorise our providers to do so, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise in writing.

What may not be ordered

We refuse any brief intended to produce:

  • Sexual or pornographic content, and any sexualised depiction of a minor.
  • Content that sexualises, endangers or exploits children in any way.
  • Graphic violence, gore, or content glorifying self-harm, suicide or eating disorders.
  • Hate speech, harassment, or content demeaning a person or group on the basis of origin, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability or any protected characteristic.
  • Content promoting terrorism, extremism or the commission of a crime.
  • Deceptive depictions of real people, including political deepfakes and fabricated statements or endorsements.
  • Election or public-health misinformation, and content impersonating an institution, a brand or a news outlet.
  • Content infringing a third party’s copyright, trademark or image rights.
  • Fraudulent, deceptive or manipulative material, including scams and fake reviews.

A brief that falls into any of these categories is refused, the order is stopped, and repeated attempts lead to the account being suspended.

Likeness, voice and consent

The AI Avatar service and any production reproducing a face or a voice require documented consent from the person concerned. By submitting a photo, a recording or a reference of an identifiable person, you confirm that you hold their written permission for the use you are ordering.

We do not produce avatars or voice clones of public figures, of people who have not consented, or of anyone under 18. We may ask you to evidence consent before production starts, and we refuse the order if it is not provided.

Human review and refusal

Briefs are read by our team before production begins, and every deliverable is reviewed by a Camelo creative before it is uploaded to your project. We refuse or stop any order that breaches this policy, at any stage, and we tell you why.

Messaging connects you to Camelo staff only. Members cannot message one another, and there is no public feed or shared gallery.

Reporting content

If a delivered file, a message or anything else strikes you as offensive, unsafe or in breach of this policy, report it and we will act on it:

  • In the app, tap “Report” under an assistant answer or an Insights benchmark, pick a reason and send. The report reaches our team without leaving the app.
  • In the app, open the conversation menu and choose “Report conversation”, which sends us the thread reference without leaving the app.
  • Or send the project reference to the contact address at the bottom of this page.
  • Or send a deliverable back from the validation zone, stating what is wrong with it.

We acknowledge reports within one business day, remove content that breaches this policy, and tell the reporter what was done.

Limits of generated content

AI-assisted output can contain factual errors, invented details and visual artefacts. Our review catches what it can, but you remain responsible for checking any claim, figure, name or legal statement in a deliverable before you publish it.

Where the law requires you to disclose that a piece of content is AI-generated, notably for advertising and for depictions of real people, that disclosure is yours to make.

Changes to this policy

This policy changes as our services and the applicable rules evolve. The last-updated date appears at the top of this page, and a significant change is announced in the app or by email before it takes effect.
